Bill McGhee was born and raised on a small farm close to Humphrey, Ar. He entered the insurance business in 1980 at the age of 24. After spending 19 years with American National Insurance company both as an agent and manager, he opened McGhee Insurance Agency Inc. in July, 1999.
Bill is very active in the Independent Insurance Agents of Arkansas where he currently serves as a board member. Bill’s son Adam and his daughter-in-law Emily (along with Bill's two grandsons Caleb and Jack) are in the process of moving to Jamaica to begin a six month mission trip. Bill's daughter, Melissa, is a teacher and coach in the Bryant, AR school district.
Bill and his fiancé Lori live on Hurricane Lake in Bryant. His hobbies include golf, fishing and hunting.
