Endorsement - Also known as a rider, this is a written form attached to an insurance policy that alters the policy’s coverage, terms, or conditions.
Exclusion - A provision in an insurance policy that eliminates coverage for certain risks, people, property classes, or locations. For example, an exclusion for your auto policy might state the insurance company will not pay if you wreck your car while participating in a demolition derby.

Experiences - When an insurance company talks about your experiences, they're talking about your record of losses.

Exposure - This term is used to describe the possibility of loss. How often is your vehicle exposed to other vehicles that might run into it?

Financial Responsibility Law - A state law requiring that all automobile drivers show proof that they can pay damages up to a minimum amount if involved in an auto accident.
Independent Agent - An self-employed insurance agent who represents several insurance companies. McGhee Insurance Agency is an independent agency.
Liability Insurance - Mandatory by Arkansas Law, this policy covers bodily injury or property damage caused to another person.
No Fault Insurance - Auto insurance coverage that pays for each driver’s own injuries, regardless of who caused the accident. No-fault varies from state to state. It also refers to an auto liability insurance system that restricts lawsuits to serious cases. Such policies are designed to promote faster reimbursement and to reduce litigation.
Property/Casualty Insurance - This is the segment of the insurance industry that covers damages to your own personal property and your legal liability for damaging other people's property. This includes auto, home and commercial insurance.
Rider - Also known as an endorsement, this is a form attached to a policy that changes the coverage or terms of the basic policy.
Umbrella Policy - A separate insurance policy that provides additional coverage in addition to coverage limits of automobile and homeowner's policies.
Uninsured Motorist Coverage - This automobile coverage protects you when the driver of the other car has no liability insurance.
Underinsured Motorist Coverage - This part of your auto policy protects you when the driver of the other car does not have enough insurance coverage to pay all your medical bills.
Void - An insurance policy that has been voided, or made non-effective. This can apply when a policyholder provides false information on an insurance application.
